I came here a day after work to buy a plate of food. I ordered a plate of fried turkey with white rice. The woman at the counter wasn’t very welcoming. When I asked if the plate included fried plantains, she replied, “No.” I purchased three plantains for $1.50. I also inquired about salad, and she mentioned, “Customers barely ask for a salad, so we don’t put it on all the plates.” I requested salad on my plate, and she agreed to remind the kitchen.

The plate cost $14, and I took it home. When I opened it, I mainly found bones with very little meat. There were two leaves of lettuce and a nearly rotten tomato. I paid $16 for a small plate of food that wasn’t worth the price.

Went in to support a Caribbean shop. However, the server/cashier claimed she spoke no English (although what she said in English was perfect). They only had a soup available which looked good. But left without purchasing as we could not communicate with staff. Space looked like an old l, gloomy bar more than it did a restaurant. Will not be going back.

The owners are so nice and the food is made fresh!
