Customer Reviews
We have been coming here for years. The coffee and breakfasts are always made perfectly, and even though our Spanish skills are not the best, the ladies there are so kind and welcoming. You can tell everything here is made with love. Great value for some of the best Cuban and Dominican food in town with friendly and efficient service.
Disgusting business practice to charge a FORCED gratuity on a pick-up order, especially when you don't tell the customer at all. I had to ask why there was an additional, random charge. The cheapskate owner needs to pay their staff a better wage instead of forcing it to their customers. I complained, but the staff did not care and they know it's guaranteed money. As long as they force gratuity, we will never return.
It's a shame too, the Pan con bistec was the best we've found in this area.
All I ate there was their Cuban sandwich and Cafe Cubano. Haven't tried their cooking. Love their sandwich Cubano even though it's exactly the same as everyone else's.
EDITED REVIEW:
Enjoyed a delicious and fairly-priced breakfast today, a Sunday afternoon a few minutes after they stopped serving it. Because it was after their noon cutoff, they charged a buck over their menu price. They also tack on a 15 percent tip and, if you use plastic to pay, they stick you with a 3 percent service fee. Nevertheless, I ate a couple of fried eggs, a pair ham slices, a bunch of bacon, two croquettes, toasted Cuban bread, some french fries, a coffee with milk and a large glass of orange juice. I didn't eat the french fries. Everything was delicious. My daughter had a sandwich that looked wonderful. My daughter's BFF had the steak and eggs. It appeared to be properly cooked with an omelet atop the piece of skirt steak. The total for the three of us was $50.00, a decent deal.
First time here and I must confess that Cafe Que Rico was quite a pleasant surprise. Small store front with a big personality. Both Susan and Yamy were friendly and attentive. The food was cooked to order. The environment clean and orderly. Susan and Yamy's million dollar smiles would make anyone feel welcomed. I would totally recommend this place!
Hands down our favorite weekend breakfast spot to go sit down and have a fantastic meal. Service is friendly, the location is clean and the price is the best in the area for the meal that you get. My steak, eggs, potatoes and coffee come in at under $10. My Spouse's veggie omelet is another reasonably priced item that also comes with cafe con leche. I forgot to mention and picture the fresh, hot Cuban bread that is provided with every order. The service charge is modest and noted on both the menu and receipt. The Staff completely deserve it in my opinion and I usually add a few dollars extra. Thank you for the great food and service, see you all soon.
