The one in Hollywood is in a quiet plaza and is very spacious. The music is playing at a decent volume – you can still have conversation. The food presentation is elegant and the servings are generous I think the price of the dishes is right.
So far ive tried their anticuchos( heart) lomo saltado and jalea which have all tasted great and at a great value. Id recomend this place over many of the bigger name peruvian restaurants in the area.
Service and food were very good. I enjoyed a typical Peruvian breakfast dish named Desayno Lurin. Named from a region know for its swine farms. Always served with Cafe con leche
The food was delicious, and the environment was incredible too.
Unfortunately, bad service can ruin the experience and I am sure will cost you many customers if not fixed. One or two more people serving the tables would have made a huge difference at a busy time. But getting a bit of training when dealing with public would also be beneficial.
Getting someone to the table was a challenging task, and waiters would pass by and wouldn't pick dirty dishes off the table. I would like to add that even when short of staff, whenever possible, paying more attention at the tables would have made a difference. FYI. I am a former waiter.
Went with my family on Sunday to try the lurin breakfast and were very happy as to how tasty the tamal was, along with the sweet potato and onions, the warm French bread and the chicharron was moist not hard. The cafe con Leche was just right. We will definitely come back.
Loved the decoration, very original
