Wow! Just close this place down, clearly none of the employees want to be here as they were rude and unprofessional, and the food is terrible. Ordered a BLT wrap because they didn’t have cheese for the grilled cheese… and waited ten plus minutes (I’m the only one in line) as the girl who was supposed to be making the sandwiches chatted with her coworkers and ignored me. Only once she notices me standing there and asks what I’m waiting on does she tell me they don’t have tomato for the BLT “is that ok”. I ended up with a half empty chicken salad sandwich with old lettuce and a hand filled baggie of stale unsalted kettle chips. (The Mrs. Vickie’s on display don’t come with the $18 sandwich combo.) We also got the “Kicked Up Dip” French dip sandwich, the only thing kicked up was the insane amount of salt in the au jus. $37 for two sandwiches, two baggies of chips and two drinks. You’re better off eating tic tacs and gum from the convenience store. What a disgrace!
Absolutely un edible. We had to throw away our food. Took way too long to make, conditions behind the counter were poorly designed. The worker leans over to pick up the ingredients from the bottom shelf. Do not eat here. I don’t blame the staff, I blame the owners and management for running an absolutely embarrassment of an operation.
I'm not sure if everyone is grumpy when they write these reviews at the airport.
First off, yea, the price is a lot..it's an airport restaurant. We were looking at reviews for all the surrounding places in this terminal, and they were all bad, so we just gave this one a go as we had vouchers.
We got two pizzas, maghartia and pepperoni..I can say the maghartia is not worth it, just pizza with diced tomatoes.
It's kinda like those pizzas you got as a kid. It's not great, but the bread is definitely tasted fresh. I wish the menu listed the ingredients clearly as I wouldn't have gotten maghartia if I saw it was just diced tomatoes lol.
Either way, we were content with our pizza, and it helped us with our delayed flight. My wife and I finished both pizzas, so it was worth spending West Jets' money on it!
The cashier guy was very nice as well, and our pizza was done about 3m after ordering.
As I stood at the counter for a few minutes , I had to ask if I was at the correct cash register line to get service…eventually a lady said yes…but didn’t stop to take my order…so I waited and eventually someone came to take my order…
After the wait… it was good food for the price!
Breakfast sandwiches under $10 at airport is a great deal. They just opened and did not have the biscuit and gravy that was advertised on the menu…so a sandwich worked out good. NOTE: you have to find this place by walking back into the corner, as it is not visible from the main courtyard area.
What can I say I walked into this a little market Carvery at about 6 AM and was greeted by some very nice staff who cooked me a fantastic breakfast. The place was clean. The service was fast and friendly.
