While visiting Orlando, Florida, we stumbled upon World’s Magic Restaurant, a hidden gem serving authentic Saudi cuisine. This was a rare and delightful surprise—while Mediterranean and Arabic restaurants are quite common, it’s not often you come across a true Saudi restaurant outside of Saudi Arabia itself.
We ordered the Lamb Mandi and Chicken Mandi, and both dishes were nothing short of fantastic. The rice was fragrant, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely bursting with flavor. The meat was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection, with just the right blend of spices. The hummus was smooth and delicious—though I would have loved a slightly larger portion. The Arabic salad was fresh, crisp, and the perfect complement to the mandi, while the stuffed cabbage leaves were a pleasant surprise—honestly better than grape leaves in both flavor and texture.
A side of garlic sauce elevated everything on the plate; in my opinion, it’s a must-have with mandi. The restaurant itself had a welcoming and well-kept atmosphere, with tasteful décor that set a warm tone. A particularly thoughtful touch was the musalla area at the front for guests to perform salah, which we deeply appreciated.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. While I do wish the menu had a few more unique Saudi dishes to explore, it was refreshing to see authentic flavors from Saudi Arabia represented so well.
If you’re in Orlando and want to try something beyond the usual Mediterranean or Middle Eastern fare, World’s Magic Restaurant is well worth a visit.
I had the lamb mandi at World Magic Restaurant and it was amazing! The flavors were rich and authentic. It truly reminded me of Saudi Arabia. I found out the chef is from Saudi, and you can really taste the difference. Definitely one of the best mandi dishes I’ve had in the U.S. Highly recommend if you’re craving real Gulf-style food.
The best mahndi I’ve ever had!! Was truly blown away from eating the food here wow it was incredible and so tasty! Just a side note, the chicken mahndi does have really small bones so be careful when eating I did actually choke on one. Overall, great experience I would definitely come back.
Tucked away from the crowded I-drive this place is exactly what your looking for if you want a home cooked style meal. Big portions I left full with left overs.
I had the Mandi Lamb, hummus, basbusa(dessert) and hot tea.
They have a cucumber/yogurt sauce was my fav. Will be back again.
Our favorite meal in Orlando! Came here right before our flight back home and were greeted with warmth. The hummus starter was the perfect consistency and the bread with it was so fresh. Ordered chicken shish which was so juicy and flavorful and our kids loved it, but the star of the show was the lamb Mandi! The most moist and tender lamb with perfect blend of spices and flavorful rice. The tomato sauce was so good we ordered extra. We ended up ordering some lamb mandi for takeaway too. Had some mint tea and basbousa to finish up and they were so kind to make it complimentary. Highly recommend
