The food was delicious. The flautas Ahogadas are a lot bigger than we imagined, which was a pleasant surprise. The carne asada sope was delicious. All the food was 10/10.
UPDATE: I don't know what has changed. This is the second time I go and get the Birria Torta and theres no Consume. The service has lost its personality too. When I asked about the rewards I was told its all ONLINE now. So its not worth ordering on location. I have no Idea what happened but very dissapointed that their customer service os on tje decline..
Original Post:Me and my wife come here for their Birria Torta! They have a reward program and after three visits we had enough points for a free item. We got a free drink. The food here is super tasty delicious every bite! Definitely recommend!
I love how fresh everything is. I love that the nachos are made with fresh tortilla chips (although I absolutely loved the nacho toppings on the cucumber chips much better. This would be a great low carb option if added to the menu). The flavors were on point from the nachos as well as the available salsas. My only issue was the pastor was a little overcooked and kind of hard to chew. Other than that, everything was delicious and I will be returning to have some cucumber nachos.
The Picaditas were very oily. Like, you can feel the grease just coat your mouth. It’s just too much. This is my second visit. Parking was easy to find. I feel like the grease from the asada and cooking oil just made the tortilla base was so soggy. I think I will stick with tortas next time. If you like the ground up asada, then this is your spot. Paid about $19 for this plate.
Ordered the Tijuana torta. Flavor was okay, nothing special. Had hardly any guacamole, but the reason I'm giving it 3 stars is the excessive amount of grease! The bottom bread felt like it was dipped and soaked in oil. The taco fundido on the other hand was delicious!
