Customer Reviews
Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before I came. The place looks very inviting so it's easy to get sucked in, even though the prices are steep.
Half of the menu wasn't available, and the wait despite not being busy had my hopes up for something really special (after all, it was a $17 sandwich). 40 mins later waiting in their dining area and my buzzer still hasn't gone off – their excuse was they called out the order instead.
The sandwich was okay. Much smaller than I had hoped, and not much better than fast food. 🙁
Do yourself a favor and heed the warnings in the reviews for this place and go literally anywhere else in the airport. The "server/host" seemed to be always in a rush but never really doing anything. He was rude and made it seem like you were a big inconvenience. My $17 breakfast plate was luke warm at best. Run to Starbucks and grab a breakfast sandwich and a good cup of coffee with a smile.
Ranking this place with 1 star is a compliment. The quality of food here is not even at question. After all, to rank the food, you need to first get it!! This is by FAR the worst place ever for timely service, or service at all. The amount of pissed off customers running late to their flight due to a sandwich they ordered and 30 minutes later all they have is the silly buzzer or the choice of making their fligh hungry, is amazing. Avoid this place if you want to remain reletivly calm after navigating LAX to this point. The only highlight this place can offer is that apparently, things at Panda Express just next to it, is not that much better.
My thoughts go out to the employees of this spot, who don't give a damn.
Service was quite poor, food lukewarm and just ok, prices extortionate for what you get, even by airport standards (almost 50 dollars for 2 breakfasts and coffee). There was also a large queue and they appeared to be understaffed so had a long wait. Not worth the money.
The worst customer experience ever! Not even a 'hi' and then you have no idea where to pick your food up so, I thought I could seat and wait. The waiter was extremely rude when he told me to get out of the chair. And thank you for the advice I actually don t want to be serve by such a rude waiter.
Food is definitely not what you get at the burton way.
Never again.
