Literally the best Al Pastor tacos I've had outside of Ensenada. Tons of meat, quick service, delicious roadside spot, very clean location.
Stopped by on a Friday night with my friend who recommended this spot and did not disappont! Service was friendly and efficient and they rolled their own tortillas on the spot. Al pastor came from a grill pit that smelled amazing and got a combination of all the salsas to try on top of the tacos. Can’t wait to come back and order more next time!
This spot is simply the ship. I’ve never not once posted a review, but, holy heck. I’m sending pics to my family – it’s on that level. I’ve decided I basically eat no where else now.
Amazing tacos. Agua frescas are gigantic. Corn tortillas are made in front of you fresh. The hard shell vampiro tacos are ridiculous. Al pastor is one of the best in LAp Definitely will be a regular. Just watch out for the spiciness of the mixed veggies as they use habañero!
The tacos here were decent. I had the asada, al pastor, lengua and cabeza. Unfortunately they ran out of suadero. The lengua was soft, the cabeza was nice and braised, the asada was decent and seasoned. The al pastor was probably the best out of the bunch so far. It had a nice char and juiciness and it was tender with good flavor. My friends had the al pastor burrito and found it to be great. The salsa rojo is probably the hottest out of the bunch there.
The current stand next to the plaza with the dollar tree and Wingstop on La Tijera Blvd. They had a table for 6 there or otherwise, you would have to stand or find your car to eat at.
