I am writing this review to share my experience living with this property Management and Landlord specifically in 7551 Norton Ave, Apartment 3.

It was one of the most challenging living situations I've ever encountered, and I feel it's important to share my perspective.
Communication and Management
My attempts to communicate with the management team were consistently difficult. I found it nearly impossible to reach them by phone or in person, as access to the office was not permitted, with "Covid protection" cited as the reason that that’s ridiculous during 2025.
This created significant frustration whenever an issue arose.
Living Conditions
The apartment itself presented several problems. I found the soundproofing to be completely ineffective; I could hear everything from the upstairs unit, which was a constant source of stress. Despite my attempts to resolve this, the situation was never addressed properly, and I was left to deal with ongoing conflicts with neighbors. They are also allowing larger (Labrador Size )dogs to living the building, although the lease says cats and small dogs only.
Additionally, the electrical system was a major concern. I was unable to use more than one electrical appliance at a time without an issue. This made daily living difficult and was a constant inconvenience.
Final Thoughts
My experience at this location was extremely stressful and took a significant toll on my mental health. Based on my time here and conversations with long-term residents, I feel their management style and handling of resident issues are not in the best interest of the tenants. I would strongly advise anyone considering this property to exercise caution.

I am so satisfied to be living in an apartment managed by Kalt’s Property Management.
The unit was clean and spotless when I moved in. Whenever I call or email the office, Ina addresses my concerns promptly.

Moved into one of their buildings last year and it has been such a good and smooth experience. Every time I need a repair, they fix it immediately and are available whenever I need. I love David and Ina and all the people who work at Kalt Properties! I appreciate you all and will forever recommend KPM!

Think twice before you rent from them extremely unprofessional, and they lack basic decency and respect. They will completely ignore your matinence needs or any email you send them for months i had to contact the LA housing department. On one occasion, I had a matinence worker just walk in my house without letting me know they were coming by I was sleeping since I work nights and didn't even have clothes on. All of a sudden I hear a man IN MY HOUSE. That's not legal. Charged a cleaning fee after leaving even though David the head of matinence said we left the apartment perfectly clean. Had a problem with them just painting over black circles on my bathroom ceiling which looked like mold and it kept coming back through the paint since they were just painting over it. Had rushing water under the house sent David a video with the loud rushing water noise and got ignored the rushing water started lifting the floorboards had to put in an emergency request for them to even consider looking at what was going on. Save yourself the headache and rent from another management company definitely wouldn't recommend.

Great management company. I will definitely rent again if I move back to LA!
