Unique pizza with a chewy, light crust and interesting flavor combinations. The Hello Satan pizza was my fave with its sweet and spicy kick that was enjoyable with the crust. Good to share with a small group. The Napolentana with the anchovies was just the right balance and not too fishy. Service was okay and could be improved on because the time from our salads and actual pizza was pretty long. The ice cream soft serve is surprisingly good. Very creamy with sweetness coming from the honey.
Cool vibe inside. Upscale yet retro.
Food was great but I had the bar set pretty high going in, and it didn’t quite hit that bar. Food was good but not quite worth the price.
Food highlights was definitely the deer tartare! Excellent flavor and the crisp bread that came with was perfect.
The tomato salad was good but a little underwhelming. Pizza also didn’t blow me away.
I ordered the re-marinara pizza. The crust was good but nothing to write home about—not at all worth the price in any world. The sauce was good and sweet but completely drowned out any flavor that would be found from the toppings. They really should go spend a day at some other pizza places in the area.
I also ordered the Honeysuckle Sour cocktail which was just as described. This was the best part of my time here.
Overall, I wouldn’t comeback. The service and atmosphere felt like a sports bar with nice furniture and lighting. The oddest part of my experience was when I mistook the bitters that were right in front of me at the bar (photo below)for olive oil for my pizza. The bar tender simply asked if I knew what I had just put on my pizza and then smirked when he realized the mistake I made.
I wanted to like this place as it’s close to my house but as the kids say—it just doesn’t hit.
Waitstaff was nice but disappointingly the food was just all right. Instagram hype wasn't real. Appetizers were just fine. Flavor balances weren’t my cup of tea (too briny, too much smoke everywhere).
Pizza crust was unique but the dough tasted too salty after a while with the cheesy crust. Toppings were meh. Why gimmicky and have a 270$ pizza on the menu, just why?
In a town with such a strong pizza scene, you can get better pizza without paying $400 for a table of 5. Literally a hop and a skip in either direction away form pizza that will change your life (Pizzeria Sei and Bianco)
Scissors were cute in photos but gimmicky in reality, the processes of physically cutting pizzas was actually a little demanding, especially if you order 3 pizzas.
Free Prosecco and dessert was a nice touch but not enough to compensate for everythign else.
Everything felt overpriced for what they were. It wasn’t an experience that warranted the premium price tag IMO.
This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is great and food as very delicious. Although the menu changes often we ordered the cali-prese 2010, the peach burrata toast and the barbecue tomatoe pizza. Probably one of the best pizza's I have ever had.
