Used to be really good burritos. But now they almost don’t put meat to the burritos, just full of rice. But even without the meat, their burrito is smaller than it used to be. It started getting worse a few months ago, but last few weeks it is just terrible. And they not only shrink the size, but also raise the price.
Mixta is $15 and much smaller when it was $10 (a few months ago). Just can’t get full anymore after one burrito, so now I must to buy something else.
And not only me noticed it, all of my friends feel it too and don’t visit them.
Previously, I went to this place even if I had to drive 30 minutes, but there is no sense and desire to visit them now.
Very sad, but I still hope that they will return their excellent service. But probably I will not know, because I’m not going to give them another chance. My last 5 burritos in sequence were small and it was rather just roll with rice, not a burrito. Hopefully there are a lot of other good places.
Fresh, quick service, and delicious! The carne asada tacos and muletas were really good!! 😋 If you like it spicy, get the roja/red sauce. #mmtacos
Tacos el Chino is definitely top 3 best street tacos I’ve had in LA. Very authentic, no extra nonsense, just delicious flavors, amazing options, handmade tortillas and perfectly seared meats.
Been coming here for a long time. Their hand made tortillas alone elevates this taco stand above the rest. My go to order from Taco stands is always Al Pastor Quesadilla or Asada Quesadilla. They are extremely generous with their portions. Never dripping in grease, delicious and flavorful meats, and affordable. I paid $10 for my quesadilla.
They aren't there Mondays, just a heads up.
The food is straight up gross! Everything tastes like charcoal. All the meat except for the al pastor it is burnt as can be. I highly recommend the employees start using less charcoal and hold back on all the lighter fluid and then you can actually get some really good food going. Tacos should never taste like charcoal!
