Came for brunch. It seems that it would be best to get here for dinner . I asked for the steak and fries, but it is 11:45 and we didn’t know we couldn’t order lunch . The Brunch selection is very small, not a lot of options. The ambience is great . So it seems if you visit early, it’s just for a small hang out and not a celebration until dinner time . Food was different. It took a while to get our food though , even though the restaurant did not seem busy. We got here at 11:10 and didn’t get our food until 12:26pm . I would want to come back and try their lunch/dinner menu. Maybe next time it will be a better experience here.
Dope little pocket of yum, in the Lincoln Heights area. Unexpected, which makes it more deserving of dedicated patrons.
We came for our anniversary dinner and were very surprised to discover the uniqueness of this place. There was a salsa DJ that night, and the dance floor was filled for hours.
The steak and frits were immaculate! Similar to and arguably better than the picanha severed at Fogo De Chão.
Come with people who respect the space, stay till midnight eating, drinking, and dancing the night away. Fun for all ages 21+.
Recommend making a reservation.
Best Moules Marienere in LA; they serve it with fries and bread. The Chicken Tagine, Morrocan salad and short rib appetizer are not to be skipped. The patio is magical.
The service was great.. friendly and very accommodating, which made the experience really pleasant. It’s definitely more of a casual spot, so if you’re expecting top-notch, no-wait, fine-dining service, this isn’t that. I was expecting more Moroccan-style dishes, but the menu was small and not really Moroccan. That said, the food we did try was all quite good. Overall, I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a laid-back spot with good food and warm service.
Le Zizou is a true Oasis in the heart of Los Angeles a softly lit intimate bar interior that invites calm and less calm.
a bright terrace reminiscent of a riad courtyard. French Moroccan cuisine is generous and refined, complemented by an exceptional wine selection + well-curated musical selection. Maati and Boris the charming hosts make this warm and unpretentious spot a rare refuge in the bustle of the city.
