Justine’s Wine Bar has stellar food, great vibes and service, and yummy drinks!
I frequent their taco Tuesday and Sunday nights with jazz and lasagna! Everything on the menu is vegetarian and almost everything available as vegan. Plus they have a great happy hour menu with an impossible burger and fries for $15 plus other items but that’s a stand out!
I live a few blocks away and love to walk here enjoy the food, friendly service and supporting a local business!
Spent $37 (including tip) on a small Caesar salad and a glass of wine *during happy hour*. Welcome to LA in 2025. The salad was fine, wasn’t fond of the dill in the Caesar. Service was just fine, nothing above or beyond or special. Dark room, it was uncomfortably warm inside. Wallpaper is cute. Instagrammable spot with very limited street parking in neighborhood. LA River trail access is close by.
Strange vibe. Expensive but also 2 of the 4 pieces of this naan-bread thing were burnt. A kitchen that allows that burnt food to go out to diners is not to be trusted. My server was sweet but that's the only thing that worked for me at this place.
It’s in super cute frogtown. Parking was tough. The place is tucked away and easy to miss. Once inside the main wall is cute with the wallpaper. No host at the door so you order at the bar and seat yourself. Ordered all three cocktails. Spritz, Margarita, Espresso Martini. The Martini was the best. Ordered fries and the mushroom calamari. It was just too loud and dim. So difficult to have a conversation. It also seems it was a lot of couples or people on dates.
I love this place. The food is excellent. The drinks are excellent. The events are fun. The crowd is nice enough. I used to work in the area and ate there several times a month, now I have to make a special trip to Frogtown from mid-city, but it's always worth it.
