Found this place because of an app that lists restaurants that do not use seed oils in their food. While I am not sure what kind of oils they use in their aolis for their freshly made and delicious sandwiches, I can attest that the chips and prepackaged food items do list seed oils on the ingredient list. Having said all that, it does not take away how cute this true neighborhood place is, how friendly the staff is, and most importantly, how delicious those freshly made sandwiches are. The bread is as we all know a very important part of the sandwich and it is delicious. Keep up the good work. I will definitely be back and work my way through their sandwich offerings when I am in the area.
Wow, so delicious. I got the pastrami sandwich Ray’s way. Dare I say one the top sandwiches in Glendale? :0
I only got it to go online and I never got to see the store so I’ll come back again another time. I do think the sandwich is a bit pricey at $22 though. Regardless, it’s still a place I’ll come back too.
I've driven by this place so many times and figured it was a community liquor store. Boy, was I wrong! Their subs are something different. Either you want quality, which is what they give you or quantity what others offer? No brainer. Yes, this place offers NO PARKING, especially driving trailers or big company vehicles. But it's worth the hassle.
S tier sandwiches. Mostly speaking about the pastrami ray’s way here, but overall legit sandwich spot. I’d drive 45 minutes if I’m craving their stuff.
Delivers on all fronts:
1. Best bread game in the LA sandwich game. Is crispy on the outside while chewy on the inside.
2. On the Mount Rushmore of best LA pastrami, goes toe to toe with Langers imo. Not quite as thick cut, but is juicy with great flavor.
3. Sauce game on point. Pastrami Ray’s way has a horseradish aioli that takes this to the next level.
Wow Wow Wow, that's all I can say. I picked #3 and #9 for the first time. Should have taken pictures. Bread was perfect the spices were perfect. Very friendly people. Thank you for the excellent service. Parking is a little tight but its worth it.
