I've been wanting to try this place as I love katsu curry. The restaurant was smaller than i expected. There are only two small tables inside, but there are several outside on the patio. The hardworking fellow that took the orders and cooked the meal was nice and helpful, though busy.

We stopped in today. I got the pork katsu curry and my wife had the pork belly katsu curry. I also got a California roll.

We started with a cabbage salad with Japanese ginger dressing. I really liked the salad. The California roll was also good. I appreciated that they had cucumber in the CA roll. Many places skip that now.

The katsu curry met my expectations. I enjoyed it a lot, though the pork was slightly on the dry side. Nonetheless, it was flavorful.

It was good enough that i will be back again.

This place is a fantastic spot for Katsu, make no mistake. Small, this place also shares a storefront is a "cajun seafood" restaurant. I spent 3 minutes online looking up the name, and I couldn't figure it out. Shame on me. Anyway, the proprietor who I believe deals with all guests, Charles, is amazing. Friendly, warm, funny, and just plain enjoyable – he will enhance your experience there. The Katsu is second to none. My GF and I tried the pork, and chicken, respectively, and neither of us were other than amazed. The portions were on point, the level of crisp was ideal, the salad was refreshing…and the little red little bonchon type of veggies…not sure what they were, but they were very tasty! Also, the potato croquettes…..heavenly! Give them a try, and thank me later!

I am reviewing on Katsu Curry that Muzen has to offer! Eating curry for whole life, their 🍛 curry was the best I have tasted! Their curry sauce was thick and flavor of Japaness curry I have tasted in Japan! Also the Katsu was tender and crisp! There wasn't that much of seating inside but you can also set outside patio! Most importantly the food was 🔥 delicious 😋 and I will be back again! The owner of the small restaurant was nice and he knows the taste of the Japanese curry!

It might be small but muzen Katsu curry has some amazing dishes and good service. Don't be taken aback by Uber drivers coming in and out, come sit inside and Charles will take care of you. He is constantly making sure you have what you need and everything tastes right. Not spicy enough? He will not hesitate to come give you some more kick. The chicken Katsu boasts a perfectly big portion and is crispy like you'd expect in Katsu heaven. I'm so happy me and my girl found this place we will be back!

Absolutely amazing! Had it for the first time today, only took 10min for them to get my chicken curry plate ready and it was more food than I expected.
