Bomb food. Some things are better than others but the portions are good as are the sides. The prices went up for some items but I would return to this spot. It is very casual, mostly Spanish speaking and I usually order there and take out.
I called in a breakfast order and when I arrived to pick it up I had asked for the red spicy sauce, the lady working in the front told me that the salsa would be an additional price due to the chilaquiles already being covered in sauce. I let her know i wanted the red spicy sauce to add to the food. She said that the spicy salsa was still going to be an additional charge. I did pay for the salsa but this is the first time I get charged extra for the hot sauce because they counted the sauce in the food (green chilaquiles sauce) that is not as hot, as hot sauce. I have bought huaraches before covered in the same sauce and not been charged extra for the hot sauce. Additionally, the receipt listed $2.25 for three 2oz salsa cups, yet I only received one—and it wasn’t even full. This lack of consistency and value is disappointing, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
The huaraches are legit. True Mexico City style huaraches. The salsas are full of flavor, a little more spicy would be perfect.
They need to add a "campechano" to the menu.
4 stars only because the location is not that good. Food is 5 stars.
Give them a try. They won't disappoint you.
Came here for the chilaquiles with eggs and carne. They food was very good and fresh. We will definitely be back.
Huaraches are delicious but when I asked for a refill on my drink the cashier said she'll have to charge me the full price of the soda which is about $3+ There is not a single establishment that would/should ever charge that for a refill
