If I could give this place a 0, I truly would. I called at 8:30pm asking the seemingly "nice" lady which sushi roll has the most EEL. She told me the CATERPILLAR ROLL. Look at the pictures. Before I even took a bite I began digging into the roll to look for any actual EEL. There was NONE to small shards big as half your pinky nail.

The largest piece I found was maybe a dime sized in one of them. The rest, either nonexistent or teeny tiny bits, this could hardly count as an EEL ROLL.

It's very disappointing. I called today, explained my issue, and the manager refused to speak to me AND refused to meet me half way whatsoever. His worker told me "they won't do anything…"

Also, the "nice" lady on purpose "forgot" to place a receipt. The evidence I have that this is from California Bowl is their chopsticks paper.

I will never be returning here. I used to be a loyal customer.

Stay away

When I say it’s the best chicken teriyaki bowls in town. It never fails better than WaBa grill and teriyaki madness. Would highly recommend it. Not only that it’s only 10$ for a bowl. You can’t get anything better than that. Plus free miso when you dine in. Great service great food. Great work California bowl sushi and teriyaki.

Neighborhood Japanese restaurant. Great taste. Made groceries and shop around the corner at Albertsons. It's in the same complex. I'll add a photo. Sorry I ate half the evidence. All the beautifulness of the food

Today I discovered this place and I really enjoyed everything about it. The food was great. I had the Philadelphia roll. It was tasty.

I was most impressed with the staff. They're very friendly and helpful. This was my mom's first time eating sushi and they were patient and gracious as they answered her questions.

The restaurant was clean. It's small so it only had 3 maybe 4 tables (I didn't count) that sat 4 people each. However, it seems to be quite a popular spot because during the two hours we were there, they had a constant flow of traffic but mostly takeout orders.

I enjoyed the food and the staff and I'm definitely going back.

I was amazed at this location, first time here. The place has a lot of parking and the staff is very friendly. The food has the right portion. I will definitely come here again. The best part is that everything is fresh and cook to order. Plus, did I mention that miso soap is provided at no charge.
