This used to be one of my go-to restaurants when I lived in the Sunland area. It's a shame I can't visit as often since I moved away. We had a meal here with three families, and we made a reservation beforehand, which was a good idea—otherwise, we would have had to wait. They gave us a large table in the center, which was perfect for our group. Even with so many of us, everyone was able to order what they liked, and the adults shared a large galbi-jjim (braised short ribs).
The food is consistently delicious, and the owner is always so kind. It never disappoints. If you're missing a taste of authentic Korean food, I highly recommend this place!
I'm obsessed with this family owned tofu shop in La Crescenta! Their seafood tofu is a must-try – the combination of tender tofu and fresh seafood is absolute perfection. And the short ribs combo? Divine! The short ribs are so tender, and I love that they come on a sizzling plate – it's the perfect touch.
The food is always delicious, which is why we've become regulars. But what really sets this spot apart is the friendly owner and staff. They're always warm and welcoming, making us feel like family.
I find myself visiting this place on a weekly basis with my wife – it's become a staple in our household. If you're a fan of tofu soup or Korean food, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won't be disappointed!
Our family is half Korean and we love this place!!! It’s the best LA Galbi in LA. We look forward to having it every week. The Grilled Atka Mackarel is superb. The Mul Nangmyeon is good. Soondubu is good too. We much prefer the vibe here than the OG K-Town these days. Can’t recommend it enough!!!
Overall impression dining area is fairly small. And they use the front tables as a workstation, which is a bit unappealing since that's the 1st thing you notice when you walk in.
The dinning area was fairly packed and we got seated right away in that last booth they had. Food price is a bit higher than what you would expect at a casual Asian restaurant.
I ordered the beef short rib soup. Portion size was decent, but there were barely any noodles in it. I was still hungry after eating it. The beef pieces were very tasty and tender, but there wasn't any other substantial veggies or noodles in it. Mainly just broth, garnish and like maybe 1 full mouthful of noodles. I kept digging to try to find more noodles. If they added 3x the noodles, the dish would of been a 10.
My friend really enjoyed his spicy pork stir fry dish and the portion was a nice side and it came with a tasty salad. I tasted and it was good and thr pork was definitely spicy.
Very tasty food and great service. We ordered 2 cans of soda and those 2 dishes and with a 20% tip the bill was $60.
I would definitely go back.
This place is my favorite Korean restaurant in all of Los Angeles County. I used to like Young Duong in San Gabriel, but the quality of their ribs went down hill big time. Try this place. You wont regret it.
