This place is a strong four star review. The tacos are pretty solid and taste authentic. I love their burritos which have great flavor and are filling. They have pickled carrots which are tasty. A person will definitely not leave hungry.

Pickled carrots were delicious! I had carne en su jugo, that was also delicious!

What can I say? Taqueria Chanos has been a beloved part of the Oak Cliff community since the 1990s. Originally a small, quick-serve spot, it quickly became a local favorite. I first fell in love with their carne asada burrito years ago, and the rest is history—especially when paired with their delicious pickled carrots.

I’ve been coming here since I was 15 years old, and every visit takes me back to those days when cruising through Oak Cliff was a popular pastime. Low riders, muscle cars, and tricked-out rides were everywhere, and the sense of community was strong. Taqueria Chanos has stood the test of time, continuing to serve great food and great memories. I highly recommend stopping by and trying their amazing burritos!

Never ever have Ii stopped here and we decided to have dinner today. I just got 3 carne asada taco's. And the Mr had 1 taco de tripa, 2 tacos de pollo. It was actually daam good. The service was nice and welcoming. The food temperature was perfect. Seasoning was all there. Salsa was not too hot or too mild and had a nice flavor. I will have to try the menudo since it looks like they serve it daily not just weekends.
