Absolutely authentic experience we ordered the the lamb mandy. The meat was simply coming off the damn bone and to add on to that the rice was so flavorful. You really taste all the flavors of the food in your mouth as the meat melts. Basically inhaling the food. And then we got milk tea wich was also on par

Albait Al Yemen on Rockaway Blvd is a hidden gem! The mandi is absolutely delicious, with tender, flavorful meat. The soup is rich and comforting—definitely the best I’ve had. Clean, welcoming place with top-notch food! I wish they had more franchises.

Just had their Chicken Shawarma. Although the menu says ‘Shawarma’. It’s actually a chicken sandwich. It’s chicken curry wrapped in a bread. Occasionally when you bite the chicken you get chicken bones in your mouth. The taste of this chicken curry sandwich is poor as well. I had to throw away half the sandwich. Not satisfied at all.
To the owner: If it’s not an actual Shawarma, please do not market it that way.
