I found this cute establishment after a hike at Lower Arroyo Seco in Wednesday morning with my friend Olivia. You have the option of eating inside or outside. Only drawback is that it’s a small restaurant so not ideal for big groups.

We were so glad we decided to turn down all the other food options available in this neighborhood because Miriam, the only employee working here on this day was amazing. She made us an asada sope, a chorizo burrito & agua frescas!!! If you are ever in the mood for a handmade sope, this is the place to go for it. Everything tastes so fresh & delicious especially the refreshing Agua Frescas: We ordered Sandía & Guava flavors and they were off the hook. Another highlight of this establishment is the very reasonable prices. Super affordable!!!

The moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. The food was a revelation. The burrito quesadillade queso was a flavor explosion, and the fajitas were sizzling and delicious. This place strikes the perfect balance between authenticity and innovation. Small counter for the most reasonably priced fare made consistently by the skilled staff. Not much seating but well worth the try.
