These guys make some of THE BEST Carnitas in all of Los Angeles. They start cooking them up early in copper "cazos", but don't start selling them until they are all cooked and ready at 9am. They have outdoor community style table seating as well as live music. You can pay the mariachi per hour or per song for them to play some of your favorites. And in my opinion these guys also have the best horchata around as well. If you want an authentic experience then come check this gem out. It's definitely worth the trip.
We been coming here for the pass 15 yrs. Best carnitas on the block. 😁
I love this place. I go here once in a while on my cheat cheat days. Been coming to this spot since I was in my mom's womb. My kids love it too. I definitely recomend it. To any1 that is home sick. Feels like your in Mexico but your in the hood. Dont worry gringos welcomed too lol.
Went on Easter Sunday. The truck is tucked in a few blue-painted duplexes, so you won't be able to see it if you're driving. Walk inside the driveway and you'll see it parked on the left side. You'll also see a big back yard with tables set to sit at. A perfect atmosphere after a hangover as you'll have 2 bands playing Mexican music while you're relaxing. Since it was a weekend, I was able to order 2 lbs of carnitas and 2 lbs of buche along with a dozen handmade tortillas. Carnitas are perfectly crisp and easy to tear. Buche were on-point as well. Tortillas are soft and easy to fold. Overall, I 100% recommend coming here. Very chill, welcoming rancho environment with some delish grub!
