The owner and chef is exceptional. She takes immense pride in the dishes she prepares. You can taste the love in the food. She genuinely cares about making visitors happy with her food. I have visited several times. I have had everything in the menu. I recommend all of it. Definitely don't leave without a bolani. Both are good but i prefer the afghan leek variety. The afghan plate features fantastic chicken. 3 menu items can feed 4 easily. Pro-tip. Call well ahead and you can order her special off menu Lamb-shank. But….i warn you ..only order if you are okay getting your mind blown 🤯. Couple it with the green chutney it is a must ❤️

My first experience with Afghani cuisine was a good one! Despite the air conditioning being out, the food and atmosphere were great, and the host was very kind.

i love this restaurant! went here a week ago with the whole family and couldn't help coming back again 😋. all the food that we have had is excellent, such as beef qorma, land and chicken afghani plates (chicken is best personally), mantu, ashak, and of course the bolani. it all tasted home cooked and the lady that owns the place and operates it all by herself is very very nice, making me feel at home, as if she were my own grandma. i would highly recommend for afghani food lovers and people who have never had it before. afghani food is highly underrated, one of the best cuisines out there, i would encourage anyone living in or near the valley to try this place.

Delicious!!

We brought our Afghan friends here and it was perfect because we needed halal food. Not only was it Halal, but it was so yummy!!

I would give it 5 stars but it was so pricey, I just wish it was slightly cheaper. (They range about $19-22 per a plate)

The lady was very friendly and did everything herself!

She was so generous and brought out a soup for us to sample because she heard us talking about it (that we wanted to try because a friend said they would make it for us sometime).

The decor has lots of cool pics from Afghanistan and one special one of Mecca.

A must try, especially if you’ve never had afghan food before but wanted to try. This place is definitely family owned, and the sweet woman working was the only one there. As a tip- I would recommend you don’t come here starving as the food takes a minute to get to the table. But don’t take that as a negative, the portions are huge so you won’t leave hungry. The lady was so kind and gave us a free Bolani, which is a potato and leek stuffed flatbread and it was crispy and full of flavor. Not to mention the spicy green sauce was incredible. We ordered the chicken afghan plate that comes with salad, kebabs, and kabuli (afghan spiced rice). And also the ashak and mantu, both of which are dumplings that have great spice (the mantu has beef). 100% recommend this little hole in the wall to anyone
