Cashier was friendly. Meats definitely were not fresh off the grill and were barely warmed, but overall everything was tender and had good flavor. Worth a try

My daughter recommend Jesse's so hard to find BBQ on a Sunday that is open. We were so blessed with great customer service, everyone was so happy, the food was delicious. We order the ribs, fried fish, chicken wings, mac and cheese, seafood rice. And the pound cake so damn good. Home-cooked food, the staff was friendly so nice. The woman who took care of us was beyond words, she was fantastic! Thank you, we'll worth the money!

I loved the fact that the food reminds me of a home BBQ! I also enjoyed seeing the smoke coming out of the back of the building! It was definitely authentic.

I just wish the food was served in plates and the utensils weren’t plastic but I get the concept they were going for. I also have to point out that the staff was not very friendly and it didn’t really make me feel comfortable, a smile goes a LONG way! They almost seemed bothered that we walked in. The owner was in the middle of the restaurant looking at “the books” and didn’t really acknowledged you were in the building.

I also didn’t really get why I was served a piece of “wonder-bread” with my meal instead of incorporating a better piece of bread with the meal; it was underneath the ribs so by the time I got to it, it was really soggy!

For the price they charge I would expect a better atmosphere, better dinnerware; just a much more put together meal and service.
