The food was good and the service was okay as well. It’s a little crowded and the ventilation wasn’t that great. But my main concern was the interaction between the so-called “owner” and a newly hired server. The way the owner was talking/scolding the waitress was extremely rude and very demeaning. I understand she was new, and any new employee needs proper training. He could have the conversation in private. It was humiliating. We kind of lost the appetite after hearing the way he was talking down towards the employees. We don’t think we’ll go back to this place where employees are not treated as humans but as modern slaves. The owner seems to forget his roots and shows his superficial power over employees. Feel sorry for those employees who have no choice but to work there with him.

Heard a lot negative things about them, but their kacchi is actually one of the best I had in the USA. They had limited collection of appetizers but the wonton I tried was quite good. The atmosphere was a but weird with some shady people

Not a new york local. They used to sell good food. Went and bought some Somucha, Roll, Chop. We get in our car and it starts smelling. We went back to the store, saying this was smelling. Asked kindly whether these were made today. They insisted these were good.
We got the food home still smells! This is specially bad, when we went back to the store saying the food smells.
বাংলাদেশী খবর দোকানে এই অভিজ্ঞতা খুব কষ্টের কারণ ।

Khalil Biryani has a bustling atmosphere, but the seating situation leaves much to be desired. The limited space and small tables often require sharing, which can be uncomfortable, especially during busy times.
I tried the special beef biryani, which was flavorful but disappointing in portion size—just one large piece of meat. The beef tehari I took out was not impressive and fell short of expectations. The chicken roast with polau was decent
On a positive note, the staff were helpful, and I also sampled the kebabs, which were just okay. Overall, while the food has its highlights, improvements in seating and portion sizes would enhance the experience.

I bought the Chana, kebabs and beef tehari.
Disgusting beef tehari. There was so much bones, and fat. There was no proper meat in here. The TEHARI was tasteless. We had better beef tehari at Fulkole in ozone park. We added caramelized onion because there was no taste. Oh and the portion is extremely small. lol I paid $18 at fulkole and got what could feed 5 people.
Kebab was good.
The Chana was also nasty and very small portion.
Honeslty wouldn’t even recommend this place.
