Customer Reviews
The food is great!
Recently moved to the area and wanted to try a local place.
I have now gone 5 times over the last month.
Chicken Wet burritos are delicious, The pambasos are great. They're not like the ones they make in mexico city but honestly they're good.
I asked a friend if there were any good places for lunch in that area and he said I had to go to the hood and recommended this place. I tried their Tuesday special and wasn't disappointed. It looks spicy but it wasn't, it was actually really good, with the hand made tortillas to mop up the sauce. Ladies beware: their unisex bathroom isn't the best. Friendly staff and they checked on my table twice. Prices are reasonable.
Ordered cafe de olla, pozole, amd red chicken enchiladas. They bright us some fresh chips (homemade) and salsa. The food was delicious and tasted exactly like how my grandma used to cook. The service was wonderful, very attentive and thoughtful. The server right to ask my daughter if she'd like the pulp out of the piña agua since she had time. Very sweet of her to ask. Only downside is they only accept cash.
Overall was average, hand made tortillas were good, agua Fresca as well, menudo did not have salt, lack of flavor, seems they used tomatoes for the broth,
Ranchero eggs were over cooked ,
Our server the youngest gal, just seemed to be unhappy, not a smile, need a better attitude with client.
Will be back? I don't think so
This place I enjoyed to the max I had the special for Thursday Chicharrón in green sauce Natalie was my server I had a very pleasant lunch
Very simple price, was perfect less than a meal at any fast food restaurant and a very pleasant environment. Reminded me when I used to have comida corrida en Aguascalientes with my Grand Mother. Truly a place to visit
