Cool coffee shop space in echo park with delicious coffee. The food is great as well. I always get the Laveta and recently tried the Andante. Very tasty. Also the prosciutto toast was divine as well. Very LA spot, and on the weekends it can get very busy so keep that in mind.

Laveta is a super cute minimalistic cafe located close to echo park lake in Los Angeles. They have their own parking lot, which already is an A+. But since it is a small lot, there is street parking all around. They have really cool inside seating as well as outdoor seating.

They offer coffee, matcha and teas. But let’s not ignore the food they offer, which I highly recommend you try out! I’ve heard the burger is delicious but haven’t tried it because I’m obsessed with their Avacado toast! It’s literally the best Avacado I’ve had! Their coffee is good as well. I’ve had their iced vanilla latte, which you can’t go wrong with. I also enjoyed one of their signature coffee, the laveta.

My partner and I stopped in here after lunch for an afternoon pick-me-up and discovered a cute as hell coffee shop we didn’t previously know existed. Laveta is in the heart of Filipinotown and is an adorable coffee shop and restaurant with lots of options both veg and not. While we didn’t try the food items we did each get a drink, I got just a black cold brew (smooth and rich and tasty!) and my partner got an oatmilk iced ube latte (he loved it). There was plenty of seating here, both inside and outside and it’s just decorated so nicely I could have stayed for hours. Will definitely be back to order food very soon. Thanks, Laveta! 🙂

Their food was surprisingly very good. Love the porridge and salad. Plug is available Wifi was quite not stable at first but then they fixed it. Love the vibe.

I tried their iced chai latte and it was quite refreshing for a hot day. The chai flavor tasted really good and had a good balance between that chai spice and creaminess from the milk. It did not taste watered down which was nice. The employee taking my order was also friendly. I will definitely visit again if I’m around the area!
