Was not allowed to dine in so when I arrived back home the food was cold the omelet was a egg thin and a crepe dessert folded over a egg The owner is RUDE his weird and I will not ever refer his food to no one Bad Business. The owner brought out the food in a bag would not allow us to eat in a dine in neighborhood whole in the wall family soul food place, like Jacks Family Restaurant, or M&M.The food is nothing to brag about Naka's bad business food has changed which was good before 2019 but it's his attitude that needed changing, the said part is his doesn't think his attitude, character, his overall is RUDE a dine in establishment that is empty and you're not alone to dine in DO THEY HAVE ROACHES!!! WHAT ARE YOU HIDING, WHEN YOU SHOULD HIDE YOUR ATTITUDE, CONCENTRATE ON BRINGING BACK YOUR GOOD FOOD
First time I ever walked in a place that served prepared food and said, "Don't eat in here." There were tables and chairs that I guess the people don't want to use. The owner may have high blood pressure or diabetes. Because there was literally no salt on the burger and fries. It was two older black people inside that treated the place like their house. I think they need to retire or maybe take some business courses and go to culinary school and graduate. Very disappointing..
Mama Nakas Served The Most Delicious Meals. When I Was A Student At Centennial High School Which Was Right Across The Street, We Looked Forward To Lunch Time At Mama Nakas. I Give Them Two Thumbs Up, Five Stars, And A Ten And A Half 😊😊😊
Came here for the first time and the guy the owner is very rude to his customers. I was going to leave the first time he was rude but we decided to support a local black owned business. He comes to my car while I’m opening my food checking it to tell us we gotta eat somewhere else. My chicken link looks like a patty and it’s pink plain and taste like a grill. My French toast are tiny thin with no powder sugar worse French toast I’ve had in 31 years. Breakfast potatoes were plain as well. He totally ruined my appetite and I could of gotten a refund. Instead I’m going to see if a homeless person is hungry. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
First thing as a heads up they are to go orders only since the pandemic. There's no parking on the site.
Now I had the breakfast: eggs, grits, pork chop, and pancakes
The grits and pork chop was delicious, and the pancakes were just how I like em!
I've read a lot of stuff about this place having a rude owner, but the man who helped today was everything but rude.
I came to the door not realizing it was order to go only, but he was kind enough to walk me through his menu process (QR code) and even walked the food over to my car. The next parking lot over. The owners name is David, and he informed me Naka's broiler has been serving the Compton area for 66 years! This establishment is a local treasure and Should be treated as such.
