My bf and I stopped by after a long flight and seeing good reviews. The spring rolls were so good to me. The pho broth was so soothing and delicious. My bf got the broken rice with sliced pork and he said it was good. The ube coffee looked too yummy to drink, and it was also yummy!
Had lunch with my girlfriend and the food was excellent! The spring rolls were perfectly good! I’ve had pho before and never really liked it, so I ordered the rice and pork chop plate for myself however, I tried her ( my girlfriend) Pho and let me tell you! I’m definitely gonna be coming and having Pho the next time! Highly recommend!
P.S o don’t usually write reviews but I had to! This place is 10 outta 10
Came here based on the high ratings. Honestly, it's just average. The food itself was good but not great. I've had better pho and egg rolls elsewhere. I couldn't tell if the egg rolls were homemade or frozen… for the price I don't think it was worth it.
The service was good. Food came out fast but we were never checked on once we got our food. No check came either so we just ended up walking to the waiter.
The atmosphere on the inside is dated but not terrible. It was clean. The area this restaurant is located in is very sketch. We came for dinner and we felt very unsafe. The back parking lot has no lights, people hanging out in the dark areas, bars on all the windows of the stores.
I would not come back here again just because of how unsafe I felt outside the place.
We ordered Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodles) and Bun Cha Ha Noi (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles).
Bun Bo Hue 3/5. Not the best Bun Bo Hue I've ever had.
Bun Cha Ha Noi 3.5/5. Decent but didn't have a lot of meat.
Ocean Blue soda 5/5. So refreshing.
Vietnamese coffee 4/5
The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seats. The owner was nice and friendly. They also have a huge parking premise in the back of the restaurant.
**Update**
They added bun bo hue but I still like their pho and other dishes more.
This new pho place is literally my favorite in the area. I feel like most pho places in the South Bay has been pretty avg or meh compared to places in like Garden Grove. However ever since this restaurant popped up I am soooo happy I can consistently get a decent bowl of pho! Not only that, everything we’ve tried on their menu has been outstanding.
Pho broth is super flavorful, tastes very homemade.
The shrimp in the spring roll is plump and the pork is also a nice slice. The paper is wrapped nicely and has a nice chew. The sauce is yummy and isn’t too sweet.
The cafe de sua has a reallyyy nice flavor, it’s slightly different than other places. Must try!
Thai iced tea is well balanced, honestly wish they could sell this a boba shop haha but I guess I’ll just come here for my fix.
I haven’t tried their vermicelli bowls yet and they don’t have other noodle soups like bun Bo hue but that’s good because that means they really focus on the pho here and they do it well!!! The tendon is nice and soft. The tripe is also cooked more soft and better quality than other local spots. This place rivals Saigon Dish but I think I like Saigon more for their bun Bo hue and I like this place for their pho. I think I will toggle between the two whenever I want some pho on Sunday I can come here instead.
I will keep coming here. Thanks for serving up quality and consistent good bowl of noodle soup!!!!
