One of the best Italian spots in LA county. Food is of very good quality. Bread on the sandwich was crisp and soft on the outside. Steak was soft with no chewy or tough peices. Pizza was cooked just right.

As a staple in my lunch routine, I regularly seek out hot sandwiches. While working in South Gate, I searched for a satisfying hot sandwich option. Pizza by Georgie's caught my attention, prompting me to try it. I selected two sandwiches, pastrami and pepper steak. Ultimately, I found the pepper steak sandwich to be the most enjoyable.

The roast beef sandwich was good but th pizza was very “meh”

There's about a dozen tables, big screen TV arrived about 3:00 PM No air conditioner but pretty cool inside with fan blowing. Temperature outside was mid-80s. I will return.

It's a great mom and pop shop for sandwiches and pizza! It's a no BS place to eat, just classic subs. I think people don't try it because the outside and inside look a little dated, but that what gives this place character. Been coming here for years and if you know what type of place you're coming to then you won't be disappointed.
