This pizza spot in the food court area by Terminal 3 next to Cava and Starbucks. Interesting concept.
All you see is a wall of lit up cubicles, an area to scan a QR code to order, pick up said order and the “Pizza Please” sign. That’s it. No people working. No pizza cooking. I honestly had to wonder how this was all happening. Ha.
I was curious so I scanned the QR code for the menu. The only pizza option at the time we were at the airport around 10pm was a 10” pizza with pepperoni for $17.
They offer a variety of pizzas, salads, wings and soda/water. Pizza options include: cheese, pepperoni, Hawaiian, supreme and veggie. Salad options include: garden or caesar. Wing options include: plain, buffalo, bbq and lemon pepper. Beverage options include: Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Starry and Proud Service bottled water.
Ordered a pepperoni pizza for hubby and son to share. There was a $1 convenience fee. After fee + taxes, the total was $19.66. Once order was confirmed, I got a text notification that food would be ready in 10-15 min. Order was ready in 8 minutes and for text with instructions to pick up pizza.
Went back to designated locker. Punched in last 4 digits of my phone number. That opened up one of the cubicles. And there was our pizza along with napkins, red chili flakes and parmesan cheese sprinkles. Fast, convenient and pizza was piping hot and fresh. Pizza was better than expected. I had a bite. Cool option.
I’m shocked at all of the bad reviews here with only 1 or 2 stars. First off, there isn’t really any service because it’s a wall. But honestly, I wonder if our pizza was fast and fresh because it was late? Who knows. We had a good experience so don’t be deterred from all these negative reviews. You’re going to pay an arm and a leg for anything at the airport so the price seems fair, all things considering.
I would give zero stars if that was an option. Text stated order would be ready in 20 minutes. I can't even rate the food quality because we haven't received our pizza after 45 minutes of waiting! The door code computer isn't working, so we are all yelling through one cube trying to sort out our orders as our flights are actively boarding. I don't have high hopes for the quality of the food if we ever do receive it… Don't waste your time.
While it was easy to order and pickup quickly, Pizza was pretty bad.
I ordered the lemon pepper wings. On top of looking like dog food, costing nearly $17 for 8 dried up peices, they also tasted like I was eating straight up spoons of salt. The phone number system they have to pick up your order is also iffy. I had to shout through their drawers to get my food. It's almost comical how crappy the wings were but I was hungry. They did however deliver them within 15min as promised in the sms. I wish I saw these reviews first Tl;dr PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM PIZZA PLEASE
Honestly Im going to start off by saying is NOT worth $17. I got a pepperoni pizza and it was dryer than the Sahara desert, barely any sauce. They give you a text when its ready and they claim its ready in 10-15 minutes… naw its ready whenever they want it to be ready, there was a huge line waiting for there pizza while one little door was open so all of us people waiting could say something. Overall -5 stars.
