Rice & Beans Restaurant so delicious food for Delivery Pork Mofungo nice amount per person has lots of Plantains mixed with pork garlic flavoring is perfecto, with red onions on top. I’ve been eating from them for many years.

Ordered rice and beans with pepper steak. The steak was so burnt I couldn’t even eat it. Will never go back here

*Dominican; small place; smoothie bar to immediate left after entrance; steam trays with hot food in the back; refrigerator with drinks and desserts on the right; takeout only

*Carne Guisada (stewed beef with carrots and potatoes in tomato-based sauce) with yellow rice, beans & sweet plantains – Good; tender beef; garlic mojo sauce on side was welcome addition
*Spaghetti – really enjoyed; sauce had a cheesy quality
*Passion fruit juice – Good

This place is a hidden gem! Sometimes it’s a hit or a miss with flavor but overall the food is usually tasty. The only reason why I didn’t give the full 5 starts is because over the years they got stingy with how much food they put in the trays. The family meal has definitely decreased in size of the rice and beans . They used to pack the rice until the plastic cover can’t close properly but now, I barely have enough for me and my 3 year old to share.

The food is good you can’t take that away from them but the customer service is non existent. The servers are the nastiest people I’ve ever met which is a shame because the owner is a nice guy. It’s not even worth complaining to the owner about because one of the servers is his daughter. Nothing will be done. Also the catering prices are a bit ridiculous. If you want good food with condescending attitudes and the occasional eye roll look no further.
