Rico's is just a few feet away from the bus stop where I catch my connecting #7 bus back to Santa Monica after a Sundays at Six chamber music recital at LACMA. Their tacos are so good I find myself anticipating them in the middle of the recital.

This is my favorite street food vendor in LA, the little taco stand which is now across from the Vons at Pico and Fairfax. The meat is perfectly seasoned and they press and cook their tortillas fresh. Delicious salsa aguacate, pinto beans, grilled onions and other sides. So good.

Ohhhhhh these tacos are soooooo goooood. I’ve eaten tacos all across LA and these are the freshest, most authentic and delicious. Tortillas made to order, most flavorful meat. I love that there’s rarely a wait and how easy it is here. Don’t be thrown off by it being a card table on the sidewalk, these tacos are gourmet.

Best Mexican food in the area. Open late. And fresh tortillas. Amazing!

You can never go wrong with them! Been there for over 5 years now. Cheap and home made fresh Mexican food.
