We went on a slightly busy Saturday. There were plenty of open tables, but like no staff to guide us no host no fuel signs that say seat yourself so we stood awkwardly in the middle of the restaurant for like five minutes as a group of seven and then went up to look like a to go counter and asked and they said oh yeah I just see yourself so we did. We push some tables around and found extra chairs and made a table for ourselves. The atmosphere is like any other rundown Mexican restaurant in any other run downtown where the music was way too loud. The TVs were playing Telemundo, but it was particular showing a horror movie called the thing which is just like not appropriate for midday with our kids and there was some miscommunication with the server. I ordered a bistec with onions and the image doesn’t show that the steak was all one piece where the bistec Mexicana is a bunch of chopped up small pieces, which is what I was hoping for All in all it was a real two star experience. The food was OK. The service was bad. the atmosphere was awful.
Potato and egg 💯
Bean and cheese…meh!
Menudo lacked flavor.
Green salsa 💯
Barbacoa is mostly clean from fat and good texture, except you may encounter clavos and whole pepper chunks. Flavor still not my favorite. Would I return? Probably in a couple of years, if it's still there. Attentive waitress.
This torta was poorly put together not even the bread was warmed up or even toasted a little , the beans meat cheese lettuce sour cream avocado was all mashed up together 🤢 there was so much fat in the asada I only took 2 bites before I just couldn’t do it this is my first time trying this place don’t recommend 1 torta 2 tacos and a drink for $30 I might as well go sit and have a good meal worth somewere else .
The food is good but they are getting overpriced big time. Went for breakfast on Sunday after church.
Had three breakfast tacos, two breakfast plates, a lunch plate, a side of rice and beans, two orchatas, three soft drinks and 2 kid size OJ and my tab was almost $80.
I order here frequently! But recently 9/10/2025 I ordered an Enchiladas dinner and it was STRING within my enchiladas. 🤦🏾♀️ They were for my kids and they could’ve got choked up. Thank God I check the food.. for the staff please be aware of how you’re preparing food. Could’ve been an accident , I’m still going to order and recommend but just be vigilant .. THANK YOU ❤️
