Customer Reviews
We came to Tacos Culiacan to celebrate my Comadre's belated birthday. It just happened to be on Viernes Santo. So I was excited to see if they had Cuaresma food.
THEY DID!!!
I ordered the Shrimp Patties topped with Nopales in Salsa Roja with a side of Beans & Rice with three Homemade Corn Tortillas.
My Comadre got the Chiles Rellenos con Queso with Beans & Rice and the Tortillas.
We also got a side of the Queso to add to the beans and the tacos. It added a yummy 'just like home' flavor.
For dessert, we had the Capirotada, a Mexican-style bread pudding. We had the last of it, and it was more than enough to eat there and take home.
The place is small and intimate. Our server was very friendly, and we were the last folks there. She gave us space to chat and visit while she mopped. It really reminded me of eating at home.
1 of the older ladies was rude, took forever to take our order we were about uo walk out until a sweet young lady took our order and was super apologetic for the other employee only reason wed return eould be for horchata nd her customer service! ALSO the Birria was Dry!! DON'T RECOMMEND!
Service is really bad there only 1 attendant
2 as soon as you walk theirs dirty plate on the side as soon as you walk in food was ok some was good the other needed more flavor
And the worse part the microwave stuff omg not happy at with restaurant
The food is just amazing here. Authentic Sinaloan food. Tortillas made by hand. They have the red menudo and white menudo. And my favorite the agua de cebada with a side of machaca .
Expensive, food quality poor and taste like oil got carne asada plate, instead of sauted they were oily, a 2 weeks ago they were giving chips and salsa when I went this time, the rude waitress told they stopped serving chips and salsa 3 years ago, never going back again, only just to get the panera cheese, but not to eat there anymore. Paid 61.00 for 2 plates, drinks and the cheese.
