Small but very good for the price tacos, like others say the Al pastor is the go to. The salsa is great as well
So cool to experience these tacos from Wisconsin. Flavor is really rich, cooked to perfection. All tacos were delicious! Made me dream of being in Mexico like when I just to live, TMI but tacos and the staff were on point! Thank me later!
We got 2 tacos de asada and 2 beans, rice and cheese burritos. The tacos are tiny and have more fat than meat, but the meat is tasty. The burritos were way too salty. The beans were what was salty so we took them out after that the cheese was also salty but they weren’t as salty anymore. The red and green salsa are pretty good. Overall we paid $17 probably won’t come back.
I had just come across this place while hanging out with family and friends and we had got hungry so we stopped at this place, Tacos el pecas and we were surprised at how good the tacos were. Tacos el pecas is a taco truck right next to a gas station on 1001-1021 S Soto St, Los Angeles. This is a good spot if you truly love tacos, the flavor of the tacos is good and flavorful with freshly cut onion and cilantro. My go to tacos there are the al pastor and the carne asada. I usually get 3 al pastor and 2 carne asada. These go great with their salsa, it's spicy but also flavorful. This place is sometimes pretty busy but the line kinda moves pretty quick and the people working are friendly too. The parking is kind of difficult to find because it is right next to the gas station or you can just take out. These tacos hit the spot when you had a pretty long day or if you're after a late night snack. If you do love tacos you should check out this spot. They are pretty good.
Tacos El Pecas serves up some seriously tasty street tacos. I had the asada and lengua—both were flavorful and super tender. The toppings are fresh. It's the standard cilantro and onion but they also serve a side of cucumber and radish slices.
It’s a no-frills food truck with limited seating, so you’re probably eating standing up or in your car. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind. Also, it's cash or Zelle only, which is fine if you know ahead of time.
Overall, great food, quick service, and solid prices.
