Came on a Saturday about 10:30 with no reservations and sat immediately. Ordered the steak and eggs and was definitely worth it. Hash browns were just ok but you could choose potatoes or fruit instead. Wife got the salmon toast and she enjoyed it. Daughter got the French Toast and it was ok. Decent service. It took awhile for first coffee refill but after that was very frequent. Place has a small parking area but also free street parking. Menu had lots of options and definitely worth coming back. Credit card system was down but there's an atm right next door at nail place. A cozy place with good food.

The menu is large, the omelets are diverse, the meat lovers omelette is packed with meats. The service is friendly and the whole crew acts as a well oiled machine. The package and French toast selection are lovely. The booths are comfortable, the patio outside is large and shaded.

I came in with a little time to kill and had a great time. My order was very simple- side of fruit which was ripe and flavorful, an over easy egg cooked perfectly that tasted like buttered popcorn, and black coffee that was strong but not acidic. I knew the family who owns it from elsewhere and they are wonderful. I will tell anyone else who loves a classic diner to support this place- there are too few left in LA and this one deserves it.

This cozy diner was recommended to us by a friend. When we arrived we saw that there was plenty of on street parking as well as an adjacent surface lot. We could see there was outdoor seating but chose to sit inside.

We were thrilled to see that the menu had breakfast and lunch served all day long. The menu offered classic, local, and creative options for both.

We had eggs Benedict and fruit French toast. The food was delicious with the portion size on the standard to large side. Neither my friend nor I could finish our meals.

The service was friendly and attentive. The staff seemed to be close and efficient – like a well oiled machine. We felt just the right amount of taken care of.

We were here on a Monday morning and there was a steady stream of customers. The demographic while we were here ranged from 20-somethings to young families to senior/older people. It appeared that many were locals which is always a good sign for a restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed eating at this hidden gem. I will definitely return to try other menu options next time I'm in the area.

So I was drawn in by the MENUDO sign lol – and thought to self, "hmm wonder how good this actually is?" IT WAS INCREDIBLE. This menudo was the tastiest I've had ever in Cali – the only place I trusted menudo before was at home in Texas. It is def a MUST TRY especially if you live in Cali and have been looking for some good menudo. I also ordered a chorizo burrito just in case lol, that was good too by the way but of course only took a bite of that because I ate every bit of my menudo. (i meant to take a pic before prepping with seasoning but i got ahead of myself)
My son had the Carne Asada & Eggs skillet (I think), very tasty too he ate every bit of that as well. Service was friendly and patient, coming from the hospitality ind myself thats IMPORTANT. It was truly by chance that i stepped in after dropping off a rental at the hertz on the same corner. So grateful I did- I'll be visiting a few more times before my trip back to Texas. Don't miss out – get there SOON.
