An underrated place. Good food and Karen was such a good host. Also, the flan was delicious! It melts in your mouth. Will definitely come back.
POZOLE FULL OF FAT, BONES & CARTILAGE. Besides the prices being high ($20 for a single serving of pozole), they serve you with all of the fat, cartilage and bones so you’re left with even less food. I was so disappointed I brought it back and she looked at me like I was crazy. She told me that’s how it’s supposed to be served. She said she would serve me another bowl but took it back and gave me the same bones I returned. I understand that pozole is cooked with fat, cartilage and bones for better flavor but it shouldn’t be served to customers. That’s a huge waste of money. Birriera Apatzingan #1 in Pacoima is way better.
Great tasty food! Good salsa and the service was super friendly! I would definitely add real utensils. Plastic ones don’t always cut well plus it adds a better look. Also, I would add a little vase with a couple of flowers on tables!🤗 other than that again, great tasty food!👍
Birrieria Apatzingán used to be one of my favorite restaurants, great food and service. Now it’s Kali birreria and it’s changed for the worst. Recently, when I’ve gone, I’ve been extremely disappointed. The food is still good, but the service, specifically the waitress that’s there now, has been terrible. She’s very rude and not someone I enjoy interacting with at all. I don’t plan on going here again.
Food is delicious birria de chivo 🔥 The only reason I won’t give it five stars, is hours of operation Kills me sometimes. I don’t know how our restaurant can close at 6 P.M.? Most people don’t even have dinner till 8 o’clock
