Stopped in for my first time yesterday and was really impressed. It’s some seriously delicious Ramen in a really casual and clean setting. It’s located really close to where I live in Venice and there is plenty of parking right out front attached to the shopping center it’s located in. Inside is not very large, however, they have plenty of tables for groups from 2 to 4 as well as some counter seating if you are a party of one. The menu is pretty small, but it has all the classic Ramen options on it. I was also impressed with how quick our food was ready, it came out in less than 10 minutes and had some really great flavors. Pricing is really fair and the portion sizes were significant.
For my first visit I chose the Spicy Tonkotsu which is pork broth with roasted pork. I usually prefer beef or chicken with Ramen, but really enjoyed this pork version. It was not very spicy, but the pork itself was really delicate and had a lot of great flavor to it. It was also a good sized portion so there was plenty of noodles and ground chicken as well. We also ordered some Fried Rice and thought it was fantastic. Both dishes really hit the spot and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area or to anyone searching for some of the better Ramen spots in LA.
This ramen reminds me of real Japanese chuka soba (traditional Japanese shoyu ramen). Gyoza is so big and juicy! I also love fried rice too. It’s just so good! I highly recommend this place! Just go and enjoy their ramen and appetizers!
The food was okay I thought it would taste a little better there were a lot of locals eating there though so I don't think it's a bad place
Hands down, best ramen in the area. If you’re a ramen lover, you would know handmade noodles when you bite into them. Soft, but also stiff. Bouncy with thickness of the starch absorbing the broth as you slurp. I never had anything like it and I believe it’s arguably better than Tsujita in Sawtelle. Everyone has their preferences though.
Cute small menu and shop. Really makes you feel like you’re in a Japan by the beach. Service was quick as usual.
Easily the best ramen in LA. I tried it yesterday and it’s still on my mind. The staff was welcoming, the garlic paste was incredible, the spicy sauce had the right balance, and even the pickled ginger is amazing. Definitely looking forward to going back.
